FOUR LEADERSHIP TEAMS
1.) Connection Team
Actively engaging new members (men) via a personal phone call welcoming them. Invite to Men's Corps Summit. Answer questions about the church or Sunday School Classes. Connect with non-active members. Uncover their Why? Be an encouragement. Let them know we care. Be a part of the Greeting Team (Sunday Mornings – before both services). Engage members as well as visitors.
2.) Missions Team
Strategically coordinate both local & long distance mission projects. Local Projects like Servolution – painting a local house (Need of 30 to 40 men). Partnering with the city to feed the homeless. Building projects with Habitat for Humanity. Long Distance Projects like Mission Trip to serve in Birmingham, England or to Louisiana for rebuilding a church or helping a partner church in completing a community project. Coordinating efforts to serve locally when needed by Church Members, Shut-ins, Community needs, etc.
3.) Outreach Event Team
Design, Plan, and Coordinate events to engage lost men as well as develop relationships with fellow believers. Events like Wild Game Dinner, Camping & Hiking Trip, Top Shot Competition at Rocky Creek, Fishing Rodeo & Cookout, Paintball, and a Father & Son Dinner. Clearly design the purpose/mission for each event as well as how we get there. We would like to have one Outreach Event per Quarter.
4.) D.I.G Team
This team will be made of men who are D.I.G. Alumni that have a passion and want to help preserve the experience they had on their retreat. Coordinate the locations, dates, logistics, participant invites, etc. for each retreat. Arrange Alumni events –”No Man Left Behind”. Establish Prayer Partners for each attendee along with additional assigned items. We are targeting two retreats for the Fall and two for the Spring.
