Description: As disciples, we are commanded to follow Jesus, be transformed by Jesus, and be on mission with Jesus. We do this effectively as we abide in Christ. How do we as women stay close to God so that we can be fruitful disciple-makers? Join us for “Abide: Staying Close to Jesus” as we are taught by Dr. Tara Dew, who is a Bible teacher, author, and speaker. She is also the wife of Dr. Jamie Dew, who is the president of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Leanna Crawford will be leading us in worship. Tickets are $20, which includes lunch from Chicken Salad Chick.
Dr. Tara Dew is a Bible Teacher, author, and speaker. Her husband, Dr. Jamie Dew, is the President of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans, LA. Tara enjoys being a President's wife! She gets to her to serve the students, staff, and faculty of this institution, as well as women in the community. Tara also teaches as an adjunct professor in their ministry to women program. Tara is the author of her new book, "Overflowing Joy: What Jesus Says about a Joy-Filled Life." She is passionate about women and God's Word!
Singer-songwriter Leanna Crawford has been writing, touring, and performing with some of the biggest names in the Christian music industry. Her honesty and passion for not being enough, yet being enough in Christ, is the message Crawford is passionate about sharing. Leanna is a Christian artist who has the opportunity to tour the country and release songs to encourage women everywhere. Her newest debut album, "Still Waters," is out now.

At this year’s women’s event, we will be supporting Keystone Substance Abuse Services here in Rock Hill by meeting the needs of their patients. Through your efforts, we will provide gift cards to easily accessible restaurants. therapeutic craft supplies, and books for these patients. Below is a list of items requested as they journey on the road to recovery. Feel free to bring more than one item. Please do not place items in a gift bag. Please bring these items with you to the women’s event, as there will be a designated space for you to drop them off:
